Establish accurate stock from receiving
Reliable warehouse operations start with inventory accuracy and traceable movements. WMS organizes receiving, transfers, counts and dispatch according to warehouse layout, location rules and material attributes. Barcode capture reduces manual entry while preserving a record of each stock movement.
At receiving, materials can be checked against purchase orders, delivery documents or inspection results, then assigned a put-away location based on zone, storage conditions and rotation policy. Transfers, holds, releases and counts retain their source and action history.
Organize supply around production demand
When production plans, material demand and stock status are connected, warehouse teams can stage and pick by order or delivery rule, reducing mistakes and production waits. Materials requiring lot, expiry or serial control can be validated and recorded throughout movement.
Staging work can be grouped and sequenced by line-side demand, delivery frequency and container rules, with materials, lots and destination stations verified at picking. When shortages or substitutions arise, warehouse and production teams can coordinate using the same task status.
Coordinate the warehouse with connected systems
Working with MES, ERP and shop-floor devices, WMS returns inventory changes to connected processes more promptly. Companies can start with priority warehouses and materials, then improve accuracy, warehouse productivity and replenishment response over time.
