Put quality standards into workflows
Quality spans incoming materials, production and final shipment. QMS can configure inspection items, sampling requirements, acceptance criteria and records for each workflow, helping inspectors follow consistent standards and reducing scattered paper records and version mismatches.
Inspection plans can be triggered by material, product, operation or supplier and linked to specifications, sampling plans and instrument requirements. Recording measured values and decisions helps distinguish isolated deviations from broader trends.
Manage nonconformance through closure
When inspection finds a nonconformance or a process issue occurs, the system records the problem, responsible step, disposition and verification, guiding containment and corrective actions through to closure. Links to lots, orders and products help define the impact quickly.
Issue handling should go beyond logging. The system can support containment, cause analysis, assigned actions, effectiveness checks and lessons learned, helping control risks across affected lots and operations and updating standards when solutions prove effective.
Use quality data to prevent recurrence
Accumulated quality data can be analyzed by product, operation, supplier or issue type to identify recurring causes and prioritize improvements. Connected to systems such as MES, inspection results can inform production workflows and strengthen prevention.
